The staff offer a wide and varied range of activities for the members, these include:-

Entertainment

Moving Forward

This includes knitting, card making and painting. The staff assist members with making various items many of which are sold for fund raising events. Jacquie, our craft worker, attends once a week to assist a small group with all sorts of craftwork.

A variety of games are a regular daily event for members and is enjoyed by them. They are also encouraged to participate in therapeutic exercise programmes on a regular basis. Bingo is enjoyed once a week on various days. Jigsaws are available for members who wish to have an hour or two of quiet time.

A variety of games for the Wii are avalaible for members to enjoy. There is also internet access on laptop for members use

A daily quiz gets the mind thinking for those that wish to participate as well as plenty of puzzles available for those wishing to do these.

Bus outings are popular during the summer months. Visits to local coffee shops.

There is entertainment regularly throughout the year where members are encouraged to sing-a-long, play musical instruments or enjoy a bit of dancing.

Reminiscence

There is an opportunity for members to reminisce if they wish and go back down memory lane.
