Self-directed support
Self-directed support (SDS) in Scotland allows individuals to have greater control over their care by choosing how their care budget is used. For day care and home care, SDS enables individuals or their carers to select services that best meet their needs, whether it’s attending a day care centre like Kirriemuir or arranging personalised home care.
